Art Request Disclaimer
These are Art Request terms and conditions. Now bear in mind that I, Roareye Black, do NOT accept art requests, however these are placed up here to act as guidelines an artist or designer can use in a transaction of artwork. Please do not ask me to make you any artwork, I shall simply decline. Artwork I make for other people are made as gifts and therefore off of my own back rather than them asking me. I hope this can help any possible disputes that people may have over artistic licence and against art theft.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- The character design you send will be copyright of the person/s that designed him/her/it and those persons will have the right to advertise the artwork as long as credit is given.
- Those persons will NOT have the right to give the artwork out to others as this can lead to artistic theft but can send to others as long as permission is given by the creator of the artwork.
- The creator of the artwork reserves the right to advertise the artwork as their own work as long as character design credit is given where due.
- The creator will NOT be able to class the character as his/her own but can class the artwork as his/her own.
- The creator does NOT have to update the artwork should he/she decide not to. If a request for minor or major updates is denied, the same rules apply. If the person/s whom requested the artwork wishes to edit it themselves, then they may do so but cannot hand it to someone else to do without express permission from the original artist. Should the person/s edit the artwork, it doesn't make it theirs and credit is still due to the original creator for giving them the main model to work from. However the creator has no boundries on a requested character design so new artwork can be built from scratch by someone else without credit due to the original artists because it will be a different art piece.
- The creator reserves the right to give the artwork to others to show certain artistic merits and styles. Should artwork be handed out, it shall be only to those that the creator feels is trustworthy enough to keep it to themselves.
- The creator does NOT have the right to allow others to make artwork of the character unless permission is given by the original designer and/or person/s whom designed it.
