SegaSonic Radio - Setup For programmes, see lower on the page
Segasonic Radio is a Network site on the TSS servers which host us. In order to listen in to any show (Including the SSN shows) follow these simple instructions.

First of all, make sure you have a music player that supports mp3PRO file formats. If you own the latest iTunes, Winamp, Windows Media Player or other common music players then you already can play mp3PROs, however if you're using smaller known programs you will need to check their compatibility with this file.
Then go to the SSR website, located
here, and click on the FM stream as indicated above. The FM stream has a slightly improved audio sync and sound quality than the AM stream, however if the FM stream is pushed to its maximum (About 32 listeners) then the AM stream will be easier to get onto. The FM stream will usually be available however.

A Windows pop-up should appear as above. When this happens, select the program you wish to open with (I commonly run everything through iTunes, however everybody uses different software. Choose whichever one you prefer) and select OK. Depending on your internet speed and computer's processing speed it might take a few moments to actually tune in. Give it the short amount of time it needs to boot up the program and sync to the audio stream.

The program should boot up and stream the audio to you. Be aware that sometimes during live radio broadcasts, there might be some delay between the broadcaster saying or doing something, and you recieving it. This is normal and is due to online lag, internet speeds and other such factors. If you do experience some lag, give it a chance to pass and the service should clear itself up. Alternatively, close some of your programs on your computer to make sure it's not your computer struggling to process the stream. Enjoy the audio experience and we hope you'll find the service trouble-free.
SegaSonic Radio - SSN Programmes

Set up by Roareye Black, The Tiger's Eye is SSN's own radio show. Opening every week at 8.30pm GMT on Fridays, it focusses on gaming culture, gaming music and little known facts on both. Because he studies gaming and it's culture alot as a pastime, Roareye's views are often deeply critical and backed up with historical examples, even if he does read them off in a half-crazed rant. In January 2008, Tiger's Eye housed monthly episodes of GrooveWatch, however by May 2008 these had branched off into their own half hour show occuring monthly before Tigers Eye at 8pm.
There are regular musical features, such as comparing beta game music to it's finished counterparts, or showcasing a video game music rarity which is of significant value (Be that comedy or otherwise) as well as news in the art community and any news on SSN, TSS Network or other community sites that SSN is in affiliation with.

Set up by Roareye Black for The Tiger's Eye, GrooveWatch was one of the bigger additions to the ArtWatch reviews due to it's necessity for another media source from lack of anything visual. It ran three shows on Tiger's Eye from Januray - April 2008 before being considered big enough to recieve its own shorter show. The reviews themselves were always written by resident musician, Shadow Urtheart, and as such the GrooveWatch show is DJ'd and run by Urtheart himself. Happening monthly at 8pm on a Friday, it's both a warm up to the Tiger's Eye as well as a key part of SSN's focus on critique.
